As was discussed at our last club meeting, we will resume our monthly meetings outside of football season, either with speakers or game watching events.  Stay tuned for more information!

I am pleased to announce The Venue on Ulmerton Road has been chosen as the location for all future Club gatherings. The Venue is located at 2675 Ulmerton Rd (727-571-2222). The Venue is a great place to meet and have a good time. They have a sushi bar, restaurant, large screen TVs for game watching and several bars to provide your favorite beverages.

On Tuesday June 15, the Club will host our first monthly gathering from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. There will be a cash bar and free hors d'oeuvres. We are scheduled to gather at The Venue on the third Tuesday of each month beginning in June.

I need a head count on how many of you will be attending. If you can make it, please send me an e-mail with the number of people in your party.

In addition to the meeting on the 15th, I hope that you can also join me for the Tommie Wright visit to Clearwater. If you have not made your reservations for the this event, you should do so soon. You can go to alumni.fsu.edu and click on the June 22 event to register.

Club dues are now due for the 2010-2011 year. We will be issuing membership cards when dues are paid. We are working to obtain discounts for paid Club members and will keep you informed as we make more arrangements.

I hope to see all of you at The Venue on June 15. Be sure to come with all the FSU paraphernalia you can wear or carry. Come out and hang with old friends and be prepared to make new ones!
